Pigmentation Removal
Patented Method
Color X is a patented pigmentation removal method by Swiss Color. It’s performed by trained and certified professionals only.
Gentle – Yet Effective
Color X removes or brightens almost every pigmentation regardless of the size, tone or brand used in the pigmentation. Also, it’s a gentler and less costly option compared to other methods, such as laser treatments.
Color X composition is based on lactic acids, which is also formed naturally in the body (i.e. in sore muscles after exercise). Color X creates an acid reaction in macrophages, which then release the pigments off the tissue. The composition dissolves naturally without leaving any residues in the body.
During the treatment, a small part of the upper skin (epidermis) is removed gentlyto enable the application of Color X into the area, where the pigments have previously been set. Pigmented areas are treated systemically in small sections, which significantly decreases the formation of scar tissue later. If the pigments have been set deep into the skin, small traces of the pigment may last on the skin after the treatment. Pigmentations that have been done too deep into the skin will not be removed due to heightened risk of scar formation.
After the treatment, the regenerating skin will form a scab, which will later fall off. The healing process depends on individual differences (i.e. skin type), but usually it takes 6 to 10 weeks. The treated area might have redness for a longer time period, if the Client has had problems with wound healing before.
After the healing process, the area can be treated again, if necessary. The professional will determine the need and time for new treatments. The removal is usually done gradually to prevent scar formation. In most cases, optimal results require more than one treatment.
